Bunn had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Wake Prep Academy Guardians.

Madeline Bryson was incredible, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Alford, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bunn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive matchups.

Bunn's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Wake Prep Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Bunn will welcome Nash Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Wake Prep Academy, they will square off against Franklin Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
