Braylen Townsend Turns in Season-Best Effort
Bloomington South came up short on Friday despite Braylen Townsend delivering his best game to date. The defeat snapped Bloomington North's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cougars faces off against Southport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Prescott Posts Huge Game in 35-34 Win
The second Columbus North player making an appearance here is Gino Prescott, and for good reason. He rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Prescott might have his next game, a home matchup with Terre Haute South Vigo, circled on his calendar. Prescott rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Braves duked it out back in October of 2023.

Tyisaac Corbin Has Career Rushing Day
Tyisaac Corbin posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Terre Haute South Vigo's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. Corbin and Terre Haute South Vigo will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbus North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
