The Bell Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Saint Francis Catholic 62-28. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bell in their matchups with Saint Francis Catholic: they've now lost three in a row.
Saint Francis Catholic found their leader in underclassman Liam Banks, who scored 22 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Banks has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jonah Powers, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Bell's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Saint Francis Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
Bell on the road again on Friday and play against Interlachen at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. As for Saint Francis Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Countryside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
