Alex were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took their matchup against Empire on Friday by a conclusive 52-24 score. Followers of Alex probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories. The game pushed Empire down to 2-3 and pulled Alex up to the reverse at 3-2.
Next week Alex take on Snyder at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. Empire will be staying on the road, facing off against Ryan. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
