The Mulberry Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They strolled past DeSoto County with points to spare, taking the game 78-64. The win was just what Mulberry needed coming off of a 81-60 loss in their prior game.
Mulberry had a senior duo take command as Alex Fisher scored 19 points and Kai Hodges scored 16 points. Jason Whitaker was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Mulberry has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for DeSoto County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Mulberry won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lake Placid at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
