If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Abbotsford. On Friday they take on Athens at 7:00 PM. Abbotsford are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Athens are stumbling in off of four consecutive losses.
Abbotsford made easy work of Owen-Withee last Friday and carried off a 49-20 victory. Followers of Abbotsford probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Athens took a serious blow against Gilman, falling 0-62.
Everything came up roses for Abbotsford against Athens the last time the two teams met as the team secured a 42-0 win.
