Basketball Game Preview: Kern Valley Broncs vs. Rosamond Roadrunners

Kern Valley hasn't had much luck against Rosamond recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Kern Valley Broncs are taking a road trip to square off against the Rosamond Roadrunners at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kern Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Frazier Mountain for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-13 victory. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Broncs had established a 53 point advantage.

Kern Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joey Galvan led the charge by putting up 16 points. That's the most points Galvan has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Madden, who posted eight points and four steals.

Kern Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Rosamond strolled past Boron with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 40-23.

Kern Valley's record now sits at 5-9. As for Rosamond, their record is now 5-10.

Kern Valley took a serious blow against Rosamond when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 75-48. Can Kern Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
