After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lebanon, Tazewell was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Graham G-Men as they made off with a 24-12 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the G-Men recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Tazewell let Nathan Lambert and Walker Johnson run wild. Lambert got on base in all five of his plate appearances with five runs, four RBI, and one triple, while Johnson went 2-for-4 with seven RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Johnson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Finn Moss, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI and one double.

Tazewell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-7. As for Graham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tazewell will square off against rival Virginia High at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Graham is set to challenge their familiar foe Richlands at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
