West Philadelphia came within a touchdown against George Washington last Friday, but wound up with a 12-26 loss.
Meanwhile, Glen Mills couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-44 to Springfield. Glen Mills were down by 6-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
