Given Shenandoah Valley Academy's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 173rd in Virginia, while Collegedale Academy is ranked 359th in Tennessee), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Avery Browne was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Shenandoah Valley Academy's points. Joseph Pelote was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Shenandoah Valley Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Collegedale Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
