There's no place like home for Rock Port, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the East Buchanan Bulldogs 4-3 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Jays have posted since April 27, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Corbyn Jakub, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Logan Ellis also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Rock Port pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for East Buchanan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Rock Port will face off against St. Joseph Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
