The River Dell Golden Hawks are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the Memorial Tigers on December 27th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, River Dell didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Fort Lee, but they still walked away with a 44-38 win.
Liam Hickey and Sean Golden were among the main playmakers for River Dell as the former scored 15 points and the latter scored 19 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Golden's third in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, Memorial waltzed into their contest Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Dickinson by a score of 73-60. Memorial's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
River Dell's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Memorial, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
River Dell didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Memorial in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 39-35 win.
