Key West has gone a perfect 10-0 against Marathon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. Marathon took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Key West, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Key West turned things around against Reagan on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bison.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Key West took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-7.

Key West can attribute much of their success to Journey Lamb, who had ten digs and one assist, and Audrey Smith, who hit 77.8% for seven kills and four digs and three blocks. Those 77.8% hitting percentage gave Smith a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Marathon lost 3-0 to Archimedean last Friday.
Marathon was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 31-29.
Marathon's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Key West, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Key West has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Marathon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
