The Seekonk Warriors can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 60-50 victory over Westport. That looming 60-50 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Seekonk yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seekonk to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lucas Pereira, who scored ten points along with four steals and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Beausoleil, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Seekonk's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Westport, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-6.
Seekonk will be playing at home against Southeastern RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Westport on the road again on Tuesday and play against Burlington at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Burlington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Westport in Massachusetts (Burlington is ranked 87th, while Westport is ranked 212th).
