Saidi Wasaidi Delivers Best Effort of Season
Saidi Wasaidi produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Polytechnic to the win on Thursday. Wasaidi rushed for 261 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Polytechnic's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. Wasaidi and Polytechnic will face off against South Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from William Quintana-Rodriguez Leads Chisholm Trail over South Hills
On Friday, Chisholm Trail got the W thanks in part to William Quintana-Rodriguez playing the best football he has all season. Quintana-Rodriguez rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
The win made it two in a row for Chisholm Trail and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Quintana-Rodriguez and Chisholm Trail will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Arlington Heights Gets a Boost from Grant in 57-6 Win
Kaeden Grant was a major factor in Arlington Heights's win over Wyatt on Friday. Grant was dynamite, rushing for 38 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 195 yards and a touchdown on only 18 passes.
On the season, Grant has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 148.5 passing yards per game.

Jashaun Thomas Goes Supernova in Paschal Loss
Jashaun Thomas put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
Paschal moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. Thomas and Paschal are on the road again on Thursday to play Wyatt at 7:30 p.m.
