Wausau West lost against Stevens Point back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. The Warriors took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Wausau West started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-12,  25-11.
 Stevens Point was led to victory by  Annabell Ebel and  Katie Kornowski.  Ebel  had 20  digs and three  aces, while  Kornowski  had 13  digs and two  aces. Kornowski has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more  assists the last 72 times she's  played.
Wausau West's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Stevens Point, they pushed their record up to 27-7 with the  win, which was their 12th straight  at home dating back to last season.
