After losing to the Pacific Grove Breakers the last time they met, the Ann Sobrato Bulldogs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Ann Sobrato walked away with a 61-52 victory over Pacific Grove on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ann Sobrato.
Pacific Grove's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sergen Serttunc, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. Gabriel Valencia was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Ann Sobrato's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pacific Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Ann Sobrato will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Del Mar at 5:30 p.m. on December 13th. As for Pacific Grove, they will be playing at home against Milpitas at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
