Loch Raven is 1-8 against Randallstown since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Loch Raven Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Randallstown Rams at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Loch Raven comes in on five and Randallstown on six.
Last Thursday, Loch Raven got themselves on the board against Pikesville, but Pikesville never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 38-0 victory over the Panthers on the road. Loch Raven pushed the score to 24-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Pikesville had little chance of recovering from.
Keyon Fauntleroy was a one-man wrecking crew for Loch Raven as he rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 125 yards and a touchdown. Eric Edmund also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Randallstown can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Lansdowne, posting a 42-0 victory at home. Randallstown's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Loch Raven's win was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.4 points per game. As for Randallstown, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Loch Raven ended up a good deal behind Randallstown in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, losing 28-14. Can Loch Raven avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
