Softball Recap: Quantico Wins Going Away Against Seton

Quantico won the last time they faced Seton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 17-5 margin over the Conquistadors. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three matches by 12 runs or more so far this season.

Quantico got a massive performance out of Alicya Talla, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases. With that strong performance, Talla is now averaging an impressive 2.2 runs per game. Gabby Ocampo also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Quantico was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

The win got Quantico back to even at 3-3. As for Seton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quantico will host Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Seton, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Oakcrest at 3:45 p.m.
