The Dallastown Wildcats had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They skirted past Red Lion 27-25. This was payback for Dallastown, who suffered a 44-30 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Dallastown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Shamar Smith out in front who rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chris Price, who rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of LaDainian Strausbaugh, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Dallastown's win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Red Lion, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Dallastown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Red Lion also has no future games currently scheduled.
