Notre Dame Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 55-25 loss at the hands of Gerstell Academy. Notre Dame Prep has struggled against Gerstell Academy recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Fallston posted their biggest win yet this season on Monday. They breezed by Havre de Grace at home to the tune of 53-22.
Ayla Galloway was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Galloway is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Lilly Burns was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.
Notre Dame Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Fallston, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Notre Dame Prep couldn't quite finish off Fallston when the teams last played back in February of 2020 and fell 32-30. Can Notre Dame Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
