Crater put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 67-54 victory over the Barlow Bruins. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Bruins are ranked 133rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crater pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Barlow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Crater won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Saint Joseph at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Crater's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Barlow, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Glencoe at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
