Aledo waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Jersey Village Falcons by a score of 2-0.

Aledo easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-18.

Payton Patrick paced Aledo's offense, picking up eight kills. Patrick got some help from Sophie Frank and her 12 assists. Kailey Hamilton controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Aledo's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Jersey Village, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Aledo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Canyon on the 14th. As for Jersey Village, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Freeman on the 14th.
