Softball Recap: H-L-V Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

H-L-V hadn't done well against Belle Plaine recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Plainsmen. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by eight runs or more this season.

H-L-V has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Belle Plaine, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

H-L-V wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Grand View Christian on the 14th. As for Belle Plaine, they will take on Keota at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
