Watertown's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Seymour Wildcats 58-55. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Watertown was led to victory by Christopher O'Toole and Johnathan Platt. O'Toole posted 16 points, while Platt put up 14 points. Dean LeMay was another key player, putting up eight points.

When it comes to explaining why Seymour lost, don't look at Joey Carrafiello. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine rebounds. Carrafiello has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 11 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Robby Carrafiello, who had eight points in addition to ten assists and six boards.

The victory got Watertown back to even at 2-2. As for Seymour, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Watertown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 57-42 win against Ansonia on the 2nd. As for Seymour, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-44 victory against Oxford on the 4th.
