Waldron will be playing at home against Pottsville at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Waldron are limping into the game on a three-game losing streak.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-35, which was the final score in Waldron's tilt against Dardanelle last Friday.
Meanwhile, Pottsville have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had enough points to win and then some against Mena, taking their match 32-14. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (26) and coasted on those for the win.
Pottsville's victory lifted them to 2-3 while Waldron's loss dropped them down to 1-4. In their victory, Pottsville relied heavily on senior Kurtis Kemp, who rushed for 227 yards and 1 touchdown. Waldron will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
