Softball Recap: Central Valley Has No Trouble Against Riverbank

Central Valley won the last time they faced Riverbank and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Central Valley Hawks' way against the Riverbank Bruins as the Central Valley Hawks made off with a 10-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Brooklynn Steeley made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit, allowed only an earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in hits (zero). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Central Valley got a massive performance out of Madelyn Morales, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Abigail Krauss, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
