Pleasanton is 9-1 against Oswego since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pleasanton Blu-Jays will head out on the road to take on the Oswego Indians at 6:00 p.m. Pleasanton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Pleasanton won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were beaten by Uniontown 38-10.
Meanwhile, Oswego's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Southeast, falling 63-23. Oswego has struggled against Southeast recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Pleasanton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-1 record this season. As for Oswego, they dropped their record down to 1-16-1 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
Pleasanton took their victory against Oswego when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 53-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pleasanton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
