The St. John Bosco Academy Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Kendrick at home and fell 78-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. John Bosco Academy has scored all season.
It was another big night for Hunter Taylor, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 37 points and 11 steals for Kendrick. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Taylor has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cade Silflow, who scored five points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
St. John Bosco Academy dropped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kendrick, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.
St. John Bosco Academy will head out on the road to square off against Kendrick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kendrick has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 457 points over their last six matches.
