The Santa Fe Raiders lost against the Eastside Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Santa Fe had to suffer through a rough 50-14 loss at the hands of Eastside. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Santa Fe in their matchups with Eastside: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the defeat, Santa Fe saw an underclassman step up: Haleigh Richburgh scored 7 points.
Santa Fe now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Eastside, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Santa Fe will play host again and welcome Palatka, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastside, they will head out on the road to face off against Keystone Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keystone Heights is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
