Arcanum is 8-0 against Bradford since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Arcanum Trojans will look to defend their home court against the Bradford Railroaders at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Arcanum is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bradford in Ohio (Arcanum is ranked 207th, while Bradford is ranked 747th).
Arcanum suffered their biggest defeat since December 9, 2023 on Saturday. They were dealt a 70-30 loss at the hands of Versailles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Arcanum has suffered against Versailles since December 19, 2016.
Arcanum's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Alexis Gibbons, who scored 12 points, and Caroline Long who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Bradford has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against National Trail by a score of 30-23 on Saturday.
Arcanum has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Bradford, their victory ended a 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10.
Arcanum took their victory against Bradford in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 44-22. Will Arcanum repeat their success, or does Bradford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
