While Hudson didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Mayfield Wildcats on Monday as they made off with a 13-6 win. The Explorers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 29th (when they won 18-1).

Hudson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Mayfield, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hudson is taking a road trip to face off against Stow-Munroe Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mayfield, they will welcome Lake Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
