Bryan Station dropped down to 4-4 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost to the Frederick Douglass Broncos at home  by a   27-10 margin. The Defenders were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Broncos from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
 Kamani Barbour threw for 38 yards and one  touchdown.   Alaji Bojang was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards and one  TD.
As for Frederick Douglass, the  victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. The  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.2 points on average over those games.
  Ronrekus Barbour was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 161 yards and a pair of  scores, and also caught one  touchdown. Frederick Douglass also got a significant boost from  Jermiah Turner, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.
