Carver High School of Engineering & Science found their leader in underclassman Sahin Rodriguez, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Tali Simpkins was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
When it comes to explaining why Vaux Big Picture lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cameron Rembert. Despite the final result, he scored seven points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Rembert is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games he's played.
Carver High School of Engineering & Science's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Vaux Big Picture, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
