In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brynn Shupe, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 5-for-5. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylor Bosley, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Atchison County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
Atchison County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Jackson Heights hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .478. It's a different story for Atchison County, though, as they've only averaged .227. Will they be able to contain Jackson Heights' hitters?
