The U-32 Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Randolph Ghosts at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
U-32 took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They blew past North Country Union 23-11.

Noyes got on base in all six of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI, while Gould got on base in three of her five plate appearances with six stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI. Noyes has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Elena Noyes was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
U-32 always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .682. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Randolph came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 22-6 victory. The Ghosts' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Ella Messier made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Messier was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Lillian Small was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Jenny Ciampi, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
U-32's record now sits at 4-2. As for Randolph, their record is now 6-1.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. U-32 hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .387. However, it's not like Randolph struggles in that department as they've averaged .426. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
U-32 beat Randolph 6-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Ghosts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
