Tyler HEAT came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 53-39 victory over the All Saints Episcopal Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-43 last Saturday.

Leading Tyler HEAT to victory were Waker Hartman and Eli Anderson. Hartman went 7 of 15 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds, while Anderson went 5 of 11 on his way to 10 points along with seven assists and four steals. Anderson has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. Kedren Penney was another key player, putting up nine points.

Tyler HEAT's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-2. As for All Saints Episcopal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Tyler HEAT will head out to face off against Marshall Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on January 11th. As for All Saints Episcopal, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bishop Gorman at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Bishop Gorman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
