Calhoun relied on the efforts of Layla Gary, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Kamelia Hunter, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Hunter hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariah Champion, who scored three points along with three steals.
Dallas County's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Calhoun, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10.
