Quitman won the last time they faced Marshall, and things went their way on Friday, too. Quitman blew past Marshall 41-16. Quitman were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Quitman's record up to 3-0. Marshall are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week Quitman take on Bigelow at 7:00 PM. Quitman have bulldozed their previous three opponents, so Bigelow might have their hands full. As for Marshall, they will face off against Mountainburg.
