After only two  runs in their last  contest, West Point made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Dobson  on Monday. The Dragons were the clear victors by  a  16-6 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won eight matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
West Point got a  massive  performance out of  Gabby Rodriguez, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zerianna Gomez, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double.
 Rodriguez wasn't the only one working in the  home run department: West Point  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
West Point now  has a winning record of 9-8. As for Dobson, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record  this season.
