The Edison Red Raiders lost against the Jackson Generals back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Edison was dealt a 73-17 loss at the hands of Jackson. Edison has struggled against Jackson recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Jackson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leonard Clark, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marioel Jackson, who scored 14 points.
Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jackson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will take on Miami Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Miami Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Monday. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Northwestern focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
