 Coots wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Jack Langley, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Cesar Chavez now  has a losing record at 12-13. As for Shadow Ridge, their victory  ended  a  six-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 10-18.
