After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Conrad Weiser, Oley Valley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Antietam Mountaineers get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory. The Lynx's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Koryn Reinstein looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Brianna Garcia was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kadyn Rhoads, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Oley Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.
