Volleyball Recap: Debbie Smith CTE Academy Takes a Loss

The Debbie Smith CTE Academy Mavericks lost 3-0 to the South Tahoe Vikings on Wednesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-1, 25-12.

Leading South Tahoe to victory were Camdyn Maliska and Sienna Moretti. Maliska had nine aces and five digs, while Moretti had eight digs and four assists. That's the most digs Moretti has posted over her last six matchups. Dylan Anton also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Debbie Smith CTE Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for South Tahoe, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.
