Buena Vista came into Friday's game looking for another win against Westbrook, but Landon Rodriguez wouldn't allow it. The Wildcats blew past the Longhorns, posting a 64-16 victory with plenty of help from Rodriguez, who rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and one score. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 116.5 rushing yards per game.

Another player making a difference was Trent Henderson, who picked up 59 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 55 yards.

Westbrook's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Buena Vista, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Westbrook will venture away from home to challenge Garden City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Buena Vista, they will welcome Da Vinci at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns will need to watch out since the Dragons have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
