The Union Yellowjackets waltzed into their match on Friday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They walked away with a 64-51 win over Philadelphia. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Union also won the last time the pair played on January 2nd.
It was another big night for Rymia Craft, who scored 30 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Madden, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Union's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Philadelphia, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-8.
Union will head out on the road to face off against Eupora at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eupora will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Union is ranked 99th). As for Philadelphia, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against J.Z. George at 4:00 p.m. J.Z. George is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
