Meanwhile, Petra Academy didn't have too much trouble with Mt. Ellis Academy on the road back in November as they won 33-19.
Petra Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maggie Hornung, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. Anna Woodberry was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Foothills Community Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Petra Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
