Chesapeake Science Point will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Annapolis Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Chesapeake Science Point suffered a rough 78-55 defeat at the hands of the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, Chesapeake Science Point can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 67th).
Meanwhile, Annapolis didn't have too much trouble with the Bulldogs on the road on Friday as they won 63-45. That looming 63-45 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Annapolis yet this season.
Chesapeake Science Point's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Annapolis, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Chesapeake Science Point opened the new year with a less-than-successful 50-37 loss to the Panthers. Can Chesapeake Science Point avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
