Ethan Burke Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Sadly, Ethan Burke posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead South Windsor over Platt on Friday. Burke rushed for 296 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (113.8) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 95-yard run.
South Windsor now has a losing record at 2-3. Their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Conard at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

John Manning Dazzles in Windsor Win
John Manning was instrumental in extending Windsor's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Manning as he rushed for 229 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
Windsor pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Manning and Windsor will face off against Enfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Sawyer Pequita Delivers Best Effort of Season
Sadly, Sawyer Pequita posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Enfield over Berlin on Thursday. Pequita rushed for 64 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 126 yards on ten of 18 attempts.
Enfield dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. Pequita will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Windsor on Friday.
