On Tuesday, Walther Christian Academy suffered a tough 69-45 defeat at the hands of the Thunder.
Hamzah Shouman was his usual excellent self, scoring 33 points along with six steals and two blocks for College Prep of America. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shouman has scored all season. Ibrahim Elagha was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Walther Christian Academy dropped their record down to 3-20 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for College Prep of America, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-14.
Walther Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for College Prep of America, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Hurricanes at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. Hinsdale Adventist Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
